Micaela and Josh’s love story began at Doc B’s, a local restaurant where Micaela worked as a bartender. Josh had been a regular, and their friendly exchanges at the bar were always lighthearted. It wasn’t just the bar that brought them together, they also had been attending the same gym, Pop’s, for a while. They would often find themselves on crossing paths in the weight room exchanging quick pleasantries. Both had a love for fitness, but it wasn’t until Josh took the bold step of asking Micaela out for happy hour that things really began to change.

Their first ~unofficial~ date was Tavern/Le Margot in Fort Worth. They share an adventurous spirit and a love for food, often indulging in their shared passion for trying new restaurants and cooking up delicious meals at home. Josh has also shared his love of hunting with Micaela, which she has come to learn to enjoy alongside him (maybe not to the same level, but they are working on it).

Micaela is especially excited to be embraced by Josh’s children, Mary Elizabeth and Brantley, who add an extra layer of love and joy to her life. It wasn’t long before she realized how lucky she was to not just find a partner in Josh, but also a second family who made her feel at home.

Most days are filled with hitting the gym for a good workout, or spending time in the kitchen together and a lot of weekends are spent at the ranch. Micaela and Josh’s connection was undeniable, built on mutual respect, shared passions, and the kind of deep love that only grows stronger with time.
