Looking for something outdoors? Upper Goldwater Lake offers hiking, kayaking, and picnic areas perfect for a family outing. Please be aware there is a $3 parking fee for this location.

Lynx Lake is another great local outdoor area to explore with an easy-moderate 2.6 mile loop trail. Kayak rentals are available as well as a great German restaurant that can be found from the North Shore parking lot.

Experience the charm and character of our historic downtown Prescott. Check out local shops for a cool souvenir or grab some amazing pizza at the Grumpy Sicilian. We hope you enjoy the heart of where we call home.

Make a quick day trip just up the mountain to the historic mining town of Jerome. Try a juicy burger at the popular Haunted Hamburger or grab some incredible brisket at Bobby D's BBQ. Just be prepared for some windy roads. There is plenty to see so please drive safe.

Enjoy solving a mystery? Check out one of the escape room adventures in downtown Tempe on your way in or out of the Phoenix area. They typically are $30-$40 per person but make for an epic memory filled with excitement and intrigue.

Also near the downtown Tempe area is Tempe town lake. We've enjoyed exploring this area using the local electric scooter rentals, but boating, biking or walking is always an option as well.
