October 2023: Jordan tries to set her up with her boyfriend's roommate, Micah. He declines the offer because he is not interested in dating at the time lol.March 2024: Micah visits JMU with his roommates to see "what college would've been like". Micah and Kara barely spoke to each other because they were both too shy to interact even though they were both interested in each other.May 24th, 2024: Micah redeems himself after talking for a couple months and becomes her boyfriend after meeting Kara's family for the first time. Kara tought Micah how to hold a chicken, and after multiple attempts, he finally caught one.July 2024: Micah takes Kara to Panara Bread for the best date ever. (He totally did not choke on his food and accidentally drop his wallet on her foot).&nbsp;August 25th, 2024: Micah takes Kara on the actual best date ever at National Harbor for the Water Lantern Festival.&nbsp;September 7th, 2024: Micah takes Kara to her first baseball game date. This is the first time she actually enjoyed watching baseball.April 26th, 2025: After a traumatizing movie that made her cry boyfriend proposes in the kitchen of the house she grew up in.&nbsp; The rest, as they say, is history (or herstory).

How We Met

July 2024 (first ring design): One night I was bored and started designing a ring (yes we were only dating for 2 months at the time). I showed her my creation and she fell in love with itFebruary 14th, 2025: After some research, I decided to go check out a place called DND Jewelers in Fredericksburg. I walked and instantly knew they were the ones that would create Kara's engagement ring.March 31st, 2025: After months of back and forth and sneaking around trying not to get caught by Kara the ring was ready. I was so excited I got off of work the next day so I could drive down and see it in person.April 1st, 2025: I drove down and picked up the ring and drove straight to her parents house. I wanted to show them the ring and ask for help planning the proposal. After a lot of photos, we created the perfect plan.April 26th, 2025: In typical fashion nothing went to plan. I had Mr. and Mrs. Huber create a beautiful fireplace display with champagne, flower displays, and flower petals on their back patio. Mrs. Huber gave me one rule: DON'T LET KARA IN THE HOUSE. As we were walking to the back patio Kara saw all the hard work her parents did and walked right past it. She was heading straight for the door to go inside. I instantly dropped to my knee hoping she would see me in the reflection of the door and instead she walked into the house. I awkwardly shuffled through the door and then she finally turned around to me on my knee. I ended up proposing in the kitchen of her parent's house. The very worst part was after I proposed I waited for her to put on the ring. I even told her as we just stared at each other "Hurry up and put it on."What a great way to sum up our relationship.
