Our&nbsp;story&nbsp;first&nbsp;crossed&nbsp;paths&nbsp;in&nbsp;2014&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;chance&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;that&nbsp;left&nbsp;a&nbsp;spark&nbsp;neither&nbsp;of&nbsp;us&nbsp;could&nbsp;forget.&nbsp;A&nbsp;year&nbsp;later,&nbsp;the&nbsp;timing&nbsp;was&nbsp;right,&nbsp;and&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;moment&nbsp;Micah&nbsp;reached&nbsp;out,&nbsp;everything&nbsp;fell&nbsp;into&nbsp;place.&nbsp;By&nbsp;June&nbsp;2015,&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;officially&nbsp;together,&nbsp;and&nbsp;we’ve&nbsp;been&nbsp;inseparable&nbsp;ever&nbsp;since. Over&nbsp;the&nbsp;years,&nbsp;we’ve&nbsp;filled&nbsp;our&nbsp;lives&nbsp;with&nbsp;adventure—road&nbsp;trips,&nbsp;exploring&nbsp;new&nbsp;cities,&nbsp;and&nbsp;building&nbsp;a&nbsp;home&nbsp;filled&nbsp;with&nbsp;love&nbsp;(and&nbsp;three&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;cats&nbsp;who&nbsp;keep&nbsp;us&nbsp;entertained).&nbsp;Moving&nbsp;in&nbsp;together&nbsp;felt&nbsp;natural,&nbsp;working&nbsp;side&nbsp;by&nbsp;side&nbsp;turned&nbsp;us&nbsp;into&nbsp;a&nbsp;true&nbsp;team,&nbsp;and&nbsp;our&nbsp;love&nbsp;has&nbsp;only&nbsp;grown&nbsp;stronger&nbsp;through&nbsp;every&nbsp;season&nbsp;of&nbsp;life. On&nbsp;June&nbsp;1,&nbsp;2025—exactly&nbsp;ten&nbsp;years&nbsp;from&nbsp;our&nbsp;first&nbsp;date—Zack&nbsp;proposed&nbsp;to&nbsp;Micah&nbsp;in&nbsp;front&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Washington&nbsp;Monument.&nbsp;A&nbsp;full-circle&nbsp;moment&nbsp;that&nbsp;brought&nbsp;us&nbsp;right&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;where&nbsp;it&nbsp;all&nbsp;began. Now,&nbsp;we’re&nbsp;ready&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;adventure:&nbsp;marriage,&nbsp;a&nbsp;future&nbsp;home,&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;lifetime&nbsp;of&nbsp;love.&nbsp;We&nbsp;can’t&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;this&nbsp;day&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;of&nbsp;you—our&nbsp;closest&nbsp;family&nbsp;and&nbsp;friends—who&nbsp;have&nbsp;been&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;journey.

&#128149; Our Story
 
Our story technically began back in 2014, when fate gave us a little preview of what was to come. Zack&#8217;s mom, Cathy, had invited a work friend for a weekend trip up to Sandusky. That friend brought his girlfriend&#8212;Micah. Zack was there too, with his then-girlfriend. We met, locked eyes, and felt something... but both of us were in relationships, so life went on.
 
Fast forward about a year, and everything had changed. We were both single, and Micah reached out to Zack on Facebook. The connection was instant&#8212;and this time, it stuck.
 
We started dating in June of 2015, and hit it off immediately. We spent that first year doing what we&#8217;ve loved ever since: going everywhere and seeing everything. From the Grand Canyon to Vegas, Colorado to San Francisco, Florida to Canada&#8212;we&#8217;ve always been explorers at heart, happiest when we&#8217;re discovering new places together.
 
Moving in together just kind of... happened. Six months in, we looked at each other and said, &#8220;I guess we live together now?&#8221; It was easy. Natural. Just right.
 
We even managed what most couples can't: working side by side. We started out at Waterbeds 'n' Stuff (yes, that&#8217;s a real place), where Zack was the manager and Micah was the cashier. Later, we both joined the Bath &amp; Body Works Distribution Center in New Albany, working our way up over 8 years&#8212;both eventually becoming Group Leads. We were a true power couple, and honestly? We loved it.
 
Today, our life is full of cozy routines, cat snuggles, and laughter. We live on the north side of Columbus with our three beloved cats:
 
Ludo, a big, sweet Maine Coon who&#8217;s the gentle giant of the house.
 
Bishop, our wise older black cat, rocking life with just one eye.
 
Mochi, the mischievous little tabby who keeps us on our toes.
 
 
On June 1st, 2025&#8212;exactly 10 years from our first official date&#8212;Zack proposed to Micah in front of the Washington Monument. A full-circle moment in every way.
 
Now, we're planning the next step: finding a home just outside the city where we can have a little land, a lot of peace, and room to grow. Married life will be full of new adventures and experiences&#8212;and we couldn&#8217;t be more excited to share this next chapter with all of you.

Chris and Zack have known each other since 5th grade, and over the years their bond grew into a true brotherhood. Chris is Zack’s ride-or-die—the one he can always depend on and his go-to in any time of need. With a contagious laugh and an energy that’s impossible to ignore, Chris has a way of brightening every room he walks into. More than just a best man, he’s family.

Brittany is Zack’s sister and Micah’s built-in bestie. She’s been there through every chapter, from childhood shenanigans to adult adventures. Brittany has a heart of gold, a sharp sense of humor, and the honor of keeping the bride sane on wedding day.

Logan isn’t just a close friend—he’s also Zack’s bandmate and the bassist who keeps the heavy riffs shaking the walls. When he’s not on stage, he’s a skilled tattoo artist, leaving his mark in more ways than one. Logan and Zack also share a love of motorcycles, trading guitars for handlebars whenever they hit the road.

Lia isn’t just a friend—she’s Micah’s ride-or-die, her go-to through every high and low. The two have shared endless laughs, adventures, and late-night heart-to-hearts, building the kind of bond that only comes once in a lifetime. Loyal, supportive, and always ready with the perfect hype-up, Lia is the definition of best friend for life.

Mark has been in Zack’s life since the early teen years and played a huge role in shaping who he is today. From inspiring Zack to pick up a guitar to pushing him to keep skating, Mark has always been both a friend and a mentor. He’s been around since the beginning, so it’s only fitting he’s standing by Zack’s side on one of the biggest days yet.

Meggan is not only one of Micah’s dearest friends, she’s also an incredible baker who has made cakes for every special occasion in their lives—including this one. Beyond her talent in the kitchen, she’s the kind of friend who’s always there with love and support whenever Micah needs it. Sweet inside and out, Meggan is truly one of a kind.

Tom is the lead guitarist in the band with Zack, shredding riffs while Zack holds down rhythm. Off the stage, Tom works at Iron Pony, which perfectly fits his other passion: motorcycles. He and Zack have logged plenty of miles together on two wheels, proving their brotherhood runs deeper than just music.

Tara and Micah first met while working together at Bath & Body Works, and their friendship quickly grew into something special. Sharp, witty, and unapologetically herself, Tara is the kind of person who lights up a room just by being in it. She’s a wonderful friend and an even better partner-in-fun, making her an essential part of Micah’s side of the aisle.

Billy is the drummer in the band with Zack, Logan, and Tom—the heartbeat that keeps the music driving forward. Thoughtful and genuine, he’s always the one you can count on. And for those who really know Billy and Zack, you know there’s one phrase that says it all: “Sim sim salabim.” If you know, you know.

William Walsh

Amanda is one of Micah’s closest confidants, always ready for deep talks, silly adventures, and everything in between. She’s kind, fun-loving, and an essential part of this celebration.
