Our Reception

Micah and Alex met in college at Western Washington University in a business class which, coincidentally, Alex didn't need because he had just switched his major, but it was too late in the quarter to drop classes. They joined forces for a group project where they mostly joked around and looked up fun facts about the Shrek franchise instead of researching for the project (Sorry Grace and Taiga). They lost touch during the pandemic but reconnected when Alex returned to Bellingham. They met at a cafe to catch up and have basically never stopped hanging out since.

This is the absolutely closest hotel to the venue, you could walk over and it has amazing views of the bay!

Hotel Bellwether

A nice hotel that I've stayed at many times! Not quite as pricey as The Hotel Bellwether.

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bellingham

Travel

If you've never been to Bellingham, I highly reccomend staying in town for the whole weekend to explore! There is so much beautiful scenery like Whatcom falls, Boulevard Park, and Lake Whatcom. There is a cute farmers market on Saturdays and many restaurants, bars and breweries to try out. If you're just coming up on Sunday, if you come into town early I reccomend getting some brunch at Little Cheerful in downtown or The Birchdoor.
