Our Wedding

It was my first year working at Cheyenne Frontier Days for Pure Dixie. The second day being there Dixie mentioned that I should go dancing with her brother Matt. She insisted that it would be a great time and that Matt would not hit on me. I had heard of this group of Christian guys that Matt would hang out with and that they would go on these fun trips. I figured all of the guys would be quite a bit older than me, so I figured going dancing with the whole group would be fun. Before we could go dancing Matt and I finished closing up the booth for the night. The group of guys stood outside of the booth waiting on the two of us. As I was closing down the booth, I had to grab the displays bags that were hung up on the outside of the rack. When I grabbed the bags and turned back around to head back into the booth, I noticed this cowboy looking fella sitting on one of our stools. All I saw was this mustache and the prettiest smile I have ever seen. I figured that there was no way that this guy was single and didn't think much more about it. Eventually we all make it to the Outlaw Saloon where Matt tells me that I need to get each of his friends on the dance floor. I accept the challenge and start asking each of the guys to dance with me. This guy with the mustache refuses to dance with me all night long. I asked him several times, and he continued to say no. This made me absolutely insane. He waited until one of the last songs of the night to dance with me. I was pretty pleased with myself that I got him to dance with me at all. They take me to the house I am staying at, and I immediately jump into bed and start stalking this Taylor Dick guy on Facebook. It took a while to find him and of course like any guy his Facebook was severely outdated. I couldn't find out much about the guy besides he owned an orange mustang. The next morning, I wake up for work and start talking to Sammi about this guy I met and how he piqued my interest, but I wasn't really sure what to do about it. She convinces me to tell Dixie because she can get Matt to come back the next weekend and bring Taylor with. The tricky part was that Taylor needed to think this was his idea or I may scare him off. Dixie convinced Matt to come back and Matt then talked to the group of guys and got them to come back. All week the Pure Dixie girls and I would talk about this mystery guy, and we would count down the days until I got to see him again. The second time hanging out with Taylor he did not say a word to me until we got to the Outlaw Saloon. When we got there, he asked me to dance immediately and then continued to ask. By the end of the night, he asked for my number as we walked out the doors and the rest is history.

Micaiah and I first met at Cheyenne frontier days. Matt Daily talked Zane Rusk and I into coming to hang out with him at CFD. Once there, Matt made us go talk to his sister and everyone working in her booth. It was overly crowded, and I did not want to put forth that effort, so I quickly made the pass through and out to stand where there were less people. At the end of the day, Matt wanted to go dancing so we went so he could dance. I had no intention of dancing. Matt invited everyone he could, one of them being Micaiah. Once there though, Micaiah kept asking me to dance. Eventually I gave in, went out there and made a fool of myself as she tried to teach me. She had an amazing smile and beautiful eyes. I couldn't believe what I was doing because I swore, I'd never dance with anyone. At the end of all the dances that night I set up a time with Matt to come back the next week and try againAt the end of the second time dancing, I knew I had to see what this girl was all about. All I know is she must be pretty special if she could get me wanting to try to dance with her. I have to give a shout out to Matt Daily and helping us meet. There was also one point during the night where we stepped out, I don't really remember what we talked about, but I do remember at the end of it I remember that it came down to I have a choice; go back in and see where this goes or not. And I remember being mad at Matt for a second or two before realizing he was right. So, I went back in and just tried to get to know her the best that I could.
