What should I wear?
As we are not fancy people we are setting the tone as semi formal. Please be mindful this is an outdoor event with the ceremony uncovered and reception covered. Heat lamps may be provided, if needed.
Jeans/ button up or collard shirt for the men and blouses/skirts/dresses for ladies.
Are kids invited?
Due to limited numbers and budgeting, we hope you understand that our wedding will be kid free (18+) besides those participating in the ceremony and/or stated on your invitation.
Will there be alcohol?
Yes! We will be providing a small variety of canned/bottled beers and seltzers (while supplies last) but no hard liquor will be permitted. We do not mind if you bring your own but we, nor the property, are responsible for your actions following. Please be mindful we paid money for the venue and expect our guest to act as such adults.
Do I need 4WD to access the venue?
No you do not need a 4WD vehicle to access the venue as the route to the venue is paved as well as the venue has a gravel driveway. Parking is in a grass field.
Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony; we are asking that ALL phones and cameras be put away and/or silenced during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture the most important moments and would hate to have phones/cameras blocking them from doing so. After the ceremony, once we have exited, feel free to take as many photos as you want and share them then!
Can I bring a date / plus one?
Due to limited space and budgeting, we are only able to accommodate the guests that are included on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invite.
What if I miss the RSVP deadline?
If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our stated September 20th deadline, you will be marked "not attending". The reason being that we must provide accurate guest counts to all venders within a timely manner.
