Things to keep in mind during your stay:

1) You CANNOT drink the tap water. Bottled water will be provided on your arrival and will also be in the fridge in your rooms. You will be given bottles of water every day when they refresh your rooms, as well you can ask for them at the front desk at anytime.

2) There are many off resort excursions to pick from. Surfing, Seadoo rentals, deep sea fishing, boat tours and more are available to you. These kinds of things are NOT included in the price of your trip. The morning after you arrive you will have to attend a brief about safety and the excursions the resort offers. You can book and pay for them at this time.

3) There are many free things to do on the resort. There are nightly shows on the main stage, as well as in some of the lounges. The resort often throws themed parties. During our last trip there was a bubble party in the pool and a white party on the Friday evening. Keep an eye on the website, as we will let you know what themed events are happening during out trip!

4) The resort is private, but the beach is public. There are many people who work on the beach selling jewelry and other items. It is a little annoying, however they are good about leaving you alone once you have said no.

5) When you leave Costa Rica you will have to pay a tax at the airport. You will not be allowed to leave until you have paid this. Currently the tax is $29 per person. We recommend that you leave yourself enough cash to pay this, as they do not always have reliable debit/credit machines.
