Do you ever wonder if you'll meet your future someone online? Well I sure didn't think so, but boy was I proven wrong!
Michael and I met on a dating app that we were both hesitant about. We decided to take a risk and have a facetime date (I had to make sure I wasn't being cat fished ha-ha.) We spent many wonderful hours talking which led to our first in-person dinner date. After that, the rest is history. I still remember thinking to myself that this man couldn't be real, he was too perfect! We've been inseparable ever since. After only 6 months, or I would say after our first date, we knew the Lord wanted us to be together, so one thing
led to another and boom, we got engaged!
Michael and I enjoy playing with our dog, Eve, also known as "Eve-ilicious." She's the reason I get out of bed in the morning, literally, her morning barks wake up my whole neighborhood. She may bring challenges, but she is our biggest blessing. We truly do love our little fur ball.
Michael and I absolutely love the outdoors! When we go on hikes, the world seems to stop as we take in the Lords beautiful creations and re-connect with each other. One would say that we are at our happiest when we're in nature.
The most important part of our relationship is that we put the Lord first, and we will follow his will for the rest of our lives. The Lord has blessed us with an incredible community at our church, Sojourn. Michael and I have made wonderful connections with people which in return is preparing us both for marriage. Michael enjoys singing and playing guitar with the worship team, and I enjoy working for Sojourn kids in the children’s ministry. We feel beyond blessed to have found a church where we can both learn, grow and most importantly praise the Lord with all our might.
Proverbs 3: 3-4
“Let not steadfast love and faithfulness for-sake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.”
