Once upon a time there was a Prince named Michael who lives in a far off place called Omaha, Nebraska. One summer, May of 2019, Michael and his best friend Kevin flew to Florida to celebrate Michael’s 30th Birthday and to go alligator hunting.

Meanwhile, a princess named Michaela and her best friend Lisa where planning a mid-way birthday cruise. As fate would have it, the cruise plans fell through and the two worlds collided.

The moment Michael saw Michaela walk across the dock, it was love at first sight. Getting into the boat she reached out and touched his knee.

The sparks flew and the conversation grew.

With God’s timing, and 6 months of soul searching. A Happy Thanksgiving text, led into a Merry Christmas text, and then Prince Michael said “I’m flying in and want to take you on a date.”

Their first date was Monday, January 6th at Chuck It Ax Throwing, Tommy Bahamas for dinner and then a walk down the Naples Pier. Soon after that, Michael invited Michaela to visit him in Nebraska.

When Michaela returned to Naples she was ready to plan her next flight to visit for St. Patrick’s Day. Michael wanted to take Michaela bar hopping in Downtown Omaha and to his surprise COVID shut the world down (including all flights), but to his delight they were now a “Quaranteam Couple”. Although they were unable to go and do the begin stages of dating as in movies, bowling, ect. They made the best of quarantine experience by playing a lot of board games, cooking meals and binge watching Netflix shows.

Quarantine was a blessing in disguise in their love story because it allowed them to understand one another during a global crisis and establishing a solid foundation.

Their next adventure is moving to SWFL.
