We met through mutual friends in college but weren't initially interested in each other. After Christmas break, January 2022, Mike asked Shiloh out with a bag of chips saying, "You can have these chips but only if you go out on a date with me." Shiloh's response was "Okay" not knowing if there was going to be a punchline. If you know Mike, you can understand why she thought he was joking.

Within a month, we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. The next month, March, we went to go visit each other's families for Easter.

This is the picture of the moment Mike said I love you to Shiloh for the very first time. Don't worry, Shiloh said it back soon after, just not in front of mom who was behind the camera!

Michael and Shiloh became inseparable. We never knew what "You just know" meant when talking about your person, but now we know.

Not to mention, Papa Jon loves Mike which is a big deal! But how couldn't he. Michael is exactly the man he prayed for his little girl!

Just as it seemed happily ever after was around the corner, we were challenged with the reality of having to do long distance. Nothing like an 18 hour drive to make the heart grow fonder.

The challenges of long distance were tough, but nothing too hard for us. We came back together to be inseparable once again.

When Shiloh moved back to Pennsylvania, she brought back the first addition to their family, sweet Bucky boy.
