Mike and Erin met in the summer of 2014, working together at Lone Tree Scout Reservation in Kingston, NH. Through staff dinner outings in Portsmouth and video game nights in the handicraft lodge, they became friends. Erin had a crush on Mike pretty much right away, but it would be years before Mike knew that!

In 2016, they worked together at Lone Tree for the third straight year. By then, their friends on camp staff had noticed Erin's crush on Mike... and that Erin was shy, and Mike was oblivious. After a whole summer of nudging and help from their friends, Erin and Mike finally went on their first date (to see Suicide Squad in theaters) in August of 2016.

Since then, they've been on almost 8 years of adventures (and misadventures) together! Some of their most memorable dates include the time they went hiking and Erin stepped on Mike's glasses ten minutes in, and the time they spent the weekend in Boston to see a Celtics game and a Bruins game on back-to-back days. They have travelled to the Bahamas on a Caribbean cruise, camped in the White Mountains, and vacationed in Florida together.

From college graduations to first jobs to renting an apartment for the first time, they have been by each other's sides for many of life's big milestones. It all led up to September 3, 2022: the day that they climbed New Hampshire's Mount Kearsarge, and Mike proposed at the top!

We are so excited to be planning our dream wedding, and we can't wait to begin our marriage surrounded by all of our family and friends!
