Our Wedding

Michael and Delany met as sophomores at Manhattan High School in Spanish class. They became a couple their senior year and stayed together through college, while attending different schools. Michael played football at Concordia University in Nebraska and earned a degree in Business Administration. Delany attended Kansas State University for her Kinesiology degree and eventually moved to Lincoln, NE to be closer to Michael and live with her older sister. Michael and Delany started living together in Lincoln their senior years in college while they also got a dog together - Wren, their 2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. They moved to Omaha after graduation so that Delany could start pursuing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy while Michael works at Hudl and is completing his master’s degree, which he finished in May 2025. In October 2024, Michael proposed during a walk with Wren in downtown Omaha. Through six years of long distance, college, career shifts, and life changes, their love has only grown—thanks in large part to the love and support of their parents: Ben Trujillo, Shanna Jager, Chad Jager, Mike Doiel, and Amy Doiel. We are so excited to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone who’s been a part of our journey. - Michael and Delany
