If you’re looking to get outside during the wedding weekend, Kettle Hills Golf Course is a beautiful nearby option. Located in the rolling terrain of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine region, this 27-hole course offers scenic views, well-maintained fairways, and a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual round with friends or family. Whether you're an avid golfer or just want to enjoy the landscape, it’s a great way to spend a few hours in the area.

Located on the western shore of Lake Michigan, Milwaukee is known for its historic breweries, vibrant food scene, and beautiful lakefront. Our wedding will take place just outside the city at Terrace 167 in Richfield—about 27 miles (roughly a 25–30 minute drive) from Milwaukee—offering a scenic countryside setting that’s still close to the city.&nbsp;

Things to Do

Are kids invited?

Yes! Kids are invited and are included in your wedding invite RSVP. However, we plan on our wedding being a party you won’t forget (or remember, depends on how many drinks you choose to have), so use this night as a “parents night off” if you choose and party all night with the new Hagens!

Is there an ATM on site? 

Yes! There is an ATM on site, but it may have a slight fee.

Is there a shuttle?

Yes! There will be a shuttle provided to and from our designated hotel (look at travel info for hotel details) The shuttle will run before the ceremony from 2:00pm-3:30pm. The shuttle will run after the reception from 9:30pm-12:30am.

What is the dress code?

We invite our guests to dress in cocktail attire—stylish, polished, and celebration-ready!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We love that you would like to document our special day personally. However, during the ceremony, please refrain from using your phone or personal camera to take photos.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location? 

Yes! Ceremony and reception are both at the same location. The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be primarily indoors, with an outdoor area.
