HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Like many modern love stories, theirs started with a swipe. Mike asked Linnea out, and she cancelled (once!). Luckily, he didn’t give up — and when they finally met, the chemistry was there, even if Linnea’s English wasn’t quite ready for long conversations. Mike carried most of the talking, but something just clicked.

A few dates later, the world went into lockdown, and they unexpectedly found themselves spending quarantine together at Mike’s parents’ house in Aliso Viejo while his family was in Chicago. What could have been a few weeks turned into the start of forever.

Since then, they’ve moved through several homes, traveled the world, and met each other’s families across two continents — from summers in Sweden with Linnea’s family to holidays in Chicago with Mike’s.

Through it all, one thing has stayed the same: life is always better together.
