Peter and Michael met on almost every available dating app (no, not that one!): Match, Tinder, Chemistry ... you name it! After chatting on and off for several weeks, Peter asked Michael when he was free to meet. As Peter describes it, Michael "disappeared." Fast forward, Michael and Peter are both in Naples, Florida, on respective work trips when their mutual friend Deron sent a joint text suggesting they get together for a drink. Peter, feeling that Michael had already ghosted him for a year, was reluctant to put in any extra effort to connect. Michael was sans car at a resort but eventually convinced Peter to meet him for a drink.

They never looked back and now three years later have decided to never disappear again.

Our original wedding date of May 9 fell victim to the COVID-19 Virus, but you can't keep good men down! We are committed to getting married and to have our loved ones surrounding us. Our spring wedding is now going to be an Autumn Adventure. We hope you can all come. Thanks to all who supported and loved us through this difficult decision to postpone.

We thought we were safe hosting a late October wedding, but COVID-19 has been more resilient than we had hoped. We will get married in a small, intimate service on October 10, 2020 near our home in Washington, DC, but we hope to welcome all of you to a blessing celebration and party on May 1, 2021!
