Enjoy a magical winter evening at the Montana Dinner Yurt, beginning with a scenic 15-minute snowcat ride from Big Sky Resort’s Snowcrest Building to a secluded, lantern-lit yurt tucked beneath Lone Peak. Inside, a crackling wood stove and live acoustic guitar set the tone for a cozy, three-course dinner featuring baked French onion soup, filet mignon with peppercorn sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, and warm Toblerone chocolate fondue. Guests can stargaze, warm up by the fire, or enjoy sledding outside the yurt before returning to the village between 9:30 and 10pm. Vegetarian, salmon, and kids’ options are available, and guests are welcome to bring their own beer or wine.
