Is there a dress code?
YES! We'd love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting you wear whites, tans, and beiges! Yes you read that right! White is allowed! Please no blue jeans!
** if you are only coming to the reception, you do not need to follow the dress code. Please dress cocktail/semi formal
Will there still be a ceremony & reception?
Yes, Andrea and Michael will be having a ceremony and reception. Although, things will run a little different throughout the day. Andrea and Michael have decided to have a dinner for select close family members and friends for a more intimate feel. This will be specified on the official rsvp invitation. If you will not be attending dinner, the two have listed on The Knot some of their favorite spots in the MKE area for dinner.
Can I bring a guest/date?
If you received a plus one, your guest's name will be listed on your official invitation(not the save the date) and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. Thank you for understanding!
Can we bring our children?
We decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the those who are invited. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!
What happens if I don’t RSVP in time?
If we don’t get an RSVP back by the date in which we have provided, it will be marked as a “No.” We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in the timely manner they have given to us and cannot accept late RSVP’s due to this. We hope that you understand!
Where is the ceremony and reception?
The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors at The Gage.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, The Gage has plenty of parking. There is a lot 1 block north of the venue space. The lot has 393 parking stalls on the northwest corner of 70th St and Washington St.
Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?
Yes, there is a hotel listed under travel with a room block. The hotel is directly across the street from The Gage and is newly built!
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Due to venue policy and regulations, guests are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premise, as you(or Andrea and Michael) would be subject to a fine. We have professional and licensed bartenders that will serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
There will be a cash bar only. Cash and cards are accepted at the venue.
Is there open bar?
There will not be open bar but there will be a cash bars for guests to purchase their own drinks
