Michael (a simple, blue collar, God fearing country boy) developed a hobby of country 2 step and line dancing, and was going out dancing consistently at the same places in the beautiful state of Colorado, to build a lot of dancing relationships.

Brianna (a beautiful, talented, God fearing city girl and mother of 4 amazing children) had the same hobby. They both admired the level of talent they each had from a distance, often watching each other dance from across the way but never approached one another out of fear of not being a good enough dance partner for each other.

Then one night, on the dance floor, dancing the the cowboy cha-cha, Brianna approached Michael, looking at him with her eyes as beautiful as a shooting star in a clear night’s sky, trembling in fear asked Michael to dance. Michael was hesitant but agreed! As they danced together, something shifted into their hearts as their boots were shifting across the sawdust floor. An unconditional and unwavering love began to be created. They both continued to become better and better at dancing with each other, not much conversation took place in the process, but love was still in the works.

One day, the Lord calls Michael to leave the state of Colorado to go back near his kinfolk in the state of Missouri, so one bittersweet night, he danced with Brianna one last time, not saying a word, Michael disappears.

Brianna, continuing to go out dancing consistently, began to wonder where her amazing dance partner has gone.

“Is he in the military and got deployed?” She wondered.

“Maybe he’s away for work”
She thought.

“Hmm, that’s odd… I can’t find him on social media”
She began to worry.

After 2 months with no sign of Michael, she began to lose hope of seeing and dancing with him again.

Michael, decided to go back to Colorado for a visit. A marriage ceremony for dear friends of his was taking place there. He made sure he had time in his schedule to go out dancing for old times sake! But little did he know, it was Brianna’s birthday weekend.

So he walks into the dance hall early as he normally did on a Friday night, and started seeing his old dance partners one by one and greeting them all with great joy because he didn’t tell anyone he was returning for a visit!

Brianna, walks in to the dance hall, excited for her birthday but hopeless of never seeing her beloved dance partner again, came into a surprise. Standing there, a tall man with calloused hands, leaning against the side railing of the sawdust floor, facing away from her. Her heart skipped a beat.
“Could this be him?” She asked herself.
Brianna’s best friend Molly, leans over to her and says
“I think that’s Michael!”

Brianna leaps with joy and rushes over to him, grabbing his shoulder and pulling him to turn towards her and as their eyes met for the first time in 2 months she asked “Will you please dance with me?!” And leaps into his arms for a deep embrace!

“Where have you been?! I’ve been looking all over for you!”
Brianna says eggar to hear his explanation.

“I moved back to Missouri. It’s a long story”
Says Michael.

The reconnection started! The 2 love partners danced nearly the whole night together! Talking, laughing and dancing. It was a night to remember. They made sure to get each other’s Snapchats by the end of the night to stay in contact with one another. Before parting ways, Brianna kisses Michael on the cheek and thanks him for an amazing birthday surprise.

Several weeks later while at work, Michael thinks about his beloved dance partner and decides to reach out and check in on her to see how she was doing. And it was from then on a relationship between 2 dance partners, that had an unconditional and unwavering Christ like and centered love began to develop.
