A tale as old as time... Alexa and Jon met when they "matched" on a dating app. Through initial conversation they found that Jon had been hired by Larry, Alexa's father, years before as a ski and soccer coach at Natrona County High School. At the time of the match Alexa was living in Nebraska and Jon in Wyoming. However, they kept in touch from time to time (mostly just Jon making Husker jokes) despite never having met face to face.

When Alexa moved back to Wyoming in November of 2019, they decided to go on a first date. And... the rest is history! They went on to get married July 31st of 2020 in a small backyard ceremony, adopted a kitten, had their first child, Cecilia Madison, on January 16, 2021... and have bought their first home together! The last couple years have been EXCITING to say the least. And baby C is the light of their lives :)

This July 31st (their first wedding anniversary) a sequel wedding or re-commitment ceremony will be held to share their union as a family of three with family and friends.

The venue, The Barns at Galyen Farms, holds an extra special place in the couples hearts. Alexa worked at the barn venue for two summers while she was living in Nebraska and immediately knew it was where she wanted to get married one day.

Deborah and Larry Galyen have become family and we are all SO thrilled to have everyone out to their beautiful farm and venue to celebrate!
