Amanda and Mike officially met on March 25th 2017 at the Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville. Little did he know the actual significance of that night--it had already been a memorable night because Mike's band was competing in a battle of the bands to play a music festival, and although they didnt win (that year), that evening is a highlight for Mike and his band. The future maid of Honor, Kathy, introduced them, and to be honest, it wasn't a very exciting meeting, but Mike liked that Amanda was into Primus and Amanda thought it was cool that Mike was wearing a Jeff Beck T-Shirt--her last name being Beck. And the rest is history. Just kidding. But, that's how it started. It look a few months and a few different run-ins at Chicago bars and concerts, but they eventually started dating. They didnt take many pictures back then, so here's one of Amanda in Mike's old apartment in the city.
