While working in the Microbiology lab together, we bonded quickly as coworkers and friends. The first core memory we made together was when Chex was processing a specimen (a human toe) that suddenly was flying out of the workspace and onto her badge. With the toe still pasted to her badge, she nervously looked over at me hoping I wouldn't notice. I remind her about this probably at least once a month, she's my favorite toe loving lady.
