In October, Cascais day time temps range from upper 60s to low 70s - perfect fall time weather! Pro tip: Cascais is right on the water which makes it generally pretty breezy throughout the day. So it's always smart to bring a light jacket/sweater to have just in case.

Check in for the hotel is at 3pm, however you can go early to use the amenities throughout the hotel. The hotel has kindly offered to hold bags if necessary. If space permits, you will be able to check in early to the venue but will not be able to guarantee it until the day of.

While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening.

Come hungry! The venue has carefully curated a four course meal for our guests to enjoy throughout the night that both Michael & Shannon have tested prior to the event. It will include a starter course, a fish course, a meat course & a dessert course with plenty of delicious beverages in between.

Please list your dietary restriction in your RSVP. If you forgot to note it when you RSVPed, please text Shannon ASAP so she can note it to the venue.

The wedding will start at 5pm. Please plan to arrive between 4:30-4:45pm just to be safe. You'll notice the timeline goes from 5pm - 2am the next day - yes, it is long! This is due to the style of European meals as well as the planned reception after the meal. Please do not feel any pressure to stay the entire time! However, we hope that you'll stay to enjoy the delicious food and views of the hotel, and to hopefully grab a quick dance with the bride & groom before you leave.

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony. For the reception, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you'd like, but please do use discretion during any speeches or other special moments.
