Michael and Sarah had both been looking for their person for quite a while. Sarah working as a nurse for the past 15 years, single for most of those years, involved with her church, personal interest, doing life with her family and friends. And Michael working as a manager at a movie theater for 20 plus years, also involved in church, hobbies and invested in the life of his family and friends. Devoted to their faith and values they both embarked upon a journey and leap of faith to go online in search of a life partner. When Sarah and Michael matched, Sarah’s profile caught Michael’s eye and he reached out to say hi and start a conversation. They started chatting back and forth for a few weeks before deciding to meet in person. On their first date in early October, they met at Barnes and Noble. As awkward and nerve racking as first dates can be with someone you’ve never met before, they both knew they wanted to continue dating after that night and see how their connection could grow. And grow it did. The more time they spent together and invested in the relationship, the more they realized that they had something special and sweet. Sarah and Michael’s relationship blossomed throughout the Christmas holiday season and into the New Year. Marriage and wedding talks began and came to a place where they were both ready and wanting to fully commit to each other and begin building the rest of their lives together. On March 6th, Michael proposed to Sarah by bringing her back to where they had their first date and then surprising her with flowers and “the ring” later. Michael and Sarah are excited and happy to have found each other and are thankful God brought them together when He did, in a unique way. If you ask Sarah, she’ll tell you that they are just right for each other, and Michael would say the same. : ) And Michael might also add “Do or do not. There is no try.” ; )
