Please read this as a “When Harry Met Sally”-style interview. KELSEY: Michael said my original opener was pretentious, so were just going to dive right in. We didnt *officially* meet until senior year at Notre Dame, but the stage was set (literally) earlier than that. MICHAEL: I had finally recovered from my star turn as Shrek in Bartlett High Schools Shrek the Musical and was ready to take to the limelight once more in PEMCos production of Grease. KELSEY: I could normally be seen at PEMCo rehearsals with a Subway cup in hand, but I was studying abroad in London that semester. MICHAEL: Fate was just an ocean away. KELSEY: Yikes. When I returned senior year, Michael (dubbed MOM by the group) had made quite an impression and was recruited to compete at PEMCos Beer Olympics. There, a beautiful acquaintanceship blossomed as we bonded over being overserved at cast parties. MICHAEL: As second semester began, we still didnt know each other well but were brought together more often by meetings at bars, friends birthday parties, and of course, musical theatre. I didnt participate in the spring musical senior year, but I was always up for a good party. KELSEY: Or a bad one. Really, any party. MICHAEL: Amidst a cast party that nearly included structural damage from college kids getting too into Hamilton, it didnt seem like there was a way the night could get more exciting. KELSEY: Enter - Michael OMalley. Shortly before the night ended, Michael asked me to put my number in his phone. Thinking it was odd that he didnt already have it considering how many friends we shared, I started entering the number. Just as I finished and handed the phone back, Michael added, ...that way I can ask you on a proper date. And then, reader, he did finger guns. MICHAEL: Kelsey is the first woman Ive done that to and she agreed to marry me. Gentlemen, take notes. Kelsey: I was confused but intrigued, so I immediately went to share the story with friends (shoutout to Maid of Honor Katie who was on board with the proper date from moment one). Of course, the group wanted more details from Michael on his plans for this proper date, but immediately after making his grand gesture, he vanished. A man named OMalley, pulling an Irish exit - who would have guessed? MICHAEL: A proper date (to see Black Panther) turned into a proper courtship and then a proper betrothal. Now we cant wait to see everyone for our proper nuptials. KELSEY: We promise to overserve you.

Transportation and Map

We have two buses that will handle transportation to and from the venue: Bus 1 Departure: Leaves the DoubleTree at 5:15p.m. Arrives at the ceremony at 5:30p.m.Bus 1 Return: Leaves the William Penn Inn at 11:15p.m. Arrives at the DoubleTree at 11:30p.m.Bus 2 Departure: Leaves the Courtyard at 5:30p.m. Arrives at the ceremony at 5:45p.m.Bus 2 Return: Leaves the William Penn Inn at 11:30p.m. Arrives at the Courtyard at 11:45p.m. Note: The DoubleTree and the Courtyard are very close to each other (right across the street). If you are staying at either of these hotels, you can use either shuttle. Just a heads up though - each bus can only take 44 passengers, so the second bus might not have room for everyone!

Hotels and Transpo

PHL is 38 miles and 40 minutes from the William Penn Inn by car for those driving or renting. It is a roughly $60 uber/lyft ride. If you'd like to get to Gwynedd, PA by train from the airport, you can take SEPTA to a Center City train station (30th street, Jefferson, or Suburban stations all work). The Regional Rail Lansdale/Doylestown line will leave from any of these stations and run to Gwynedd Valley or North Wales, the closest stations to our hotels (5-10 minutes by car). Roughly $20 total for one-way ticket costs.
