The story began at the end of 2017 when they met on Instagram. Yes you heard it right, INSTAGRAM. Michael shot his shot and it landed. On and off for years after they would FaceTime each other and get to know one another.

Finally in 2022 they reconnected for good. After a couple of weeks of convincing, Michael finally jumped on a plane to California and met Alisha after five years of long distance talking. Two days after they knew they wanted to be with each other, they made official. They spent four short days together and sadly had to say goodbye for now.

The following month Alisha decided she wanted to see Michael and jumped on a plane to NYC. Michael took her out to several of his favorite places, showed her the NY lifestyle, and all the good New York foods (where she fell in love with Jamaican beef patties and oxtails LOL). After almost two weeks in the Bronx Michael and Alisha had a tough decision to make, to continue long distance or move. That's when Michael made the decision he was going to relocate to California to be with his love.

While waiting for Michael to make the big move he went out to California again in March then shortly after Alisha came back to New York in April. Every trip made it harder to say good bye and the days were getting longer.

On May 27, 2023 Michael boarded a plane to start his new life in California with Alisha. This day has since changed their lives forever and it's been nothing but the best ever since. They have created a home together and their bonds continue to grow as they plan for their future.

March 31, 2024 Michael decided in front of Alisha's family he would get down on one knee and ask her to marry him. Of course she said yes. Then the wedding planning began. Alisha always promised Michael no matter what since he sacrificed moving to her she would have their wedding in New York.

Here we are now planning a New York wedding. We really can't wait to continue our love story with our family and friends.
