Michael and I met online shortly before my graduation trip to Greece. I asked him, if you could wear one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? and Michael being Michael, he sent me a picture of himself in a pickle costume with cowboy boots!
While packing for my trip, he asked me if I could take him to his truck where he'd left it after a wedding the next day, and I said yes. When I picked him up, we went on a date to Ruby Slipper Cafe, which turned into mini golf because we didn't want to leave each other's side.
Michael, in his successful attempt to throw me off guard, made up a story that we were going to celebrate a family member's birthday on a weekday so that I'd get dressed up, having no idea he was going to propose. He walked me out on a pier and had flowers and candles waiting with a lit Marry Me sign, with Marry You by Bruno Mars playing in the background.
We now have a beautiful baby girl, Klair and cannot wait to continue our journey through parenthood together, and start our lives as Husband and Wife.
