Delta is part of Sky Team alliance including Air France, KLM & Air Europa.
They fly from Seattle-Tacoma(SEA) -Amsterdam(AMS) non-stop with direct service from Amsterdam (AMS) -Barcelona(BCN)
They also fly non-stop SEA-Paris charles de gaulle(CDG) with direct service from Paris (CDG)-Barcelona(BCN)
The travel times are very efficient with these routing systems They also have many connections from Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) thru east coast cities mainly New York City(JFK) with direct service to Barcelona (BCN).
FYI-allow at least 1.5 hours for connection times in Amsterdam & Paris if possible. Especially Paris as the airport is very large making tight connections under 1 hour difficult.
Great connections to Barcelona from Seattle-Tacoma(SEA), San Francisco(SFO) & Los Angeles(LAX)from the west coast.
With routing thru Dublin (DUB) then with service on to Barcelona(BCN) making it a very efficient travel day. Also upon returning you will clear US customs in Dublin, a huge bonus for quick travel & connections.
Traveling on British you can book thru your One World partners (Alaska & American) with good connections thru London Heathrow (LHR) to Barcelona(BCN) Prices will be a bit more due to the high landing fees at London Heathrow airport(LHR).
Allow at least 2 hours for connections times.
Iberia is a One World partner. It is the official Airline of Spain. They have many flights from the United States to Barcelona. You can fly nonstop/direct from San Francisco (SFO)-Barcelona(BCN) as well as Los Angeles(LAX)-Barcelona(BCN). These connections are seasonal with service May-September.
Level airlines is a lower cost airline owned by the Iberia/British Airways holding companies. They service primarily San Francisco (SFO )-Barcelona (BCN) and Los Angeles(LAX)-Barcelona (BCN) all non-stop. Making it about an 10.5 to 11 hour flight but no stops.
Usually service runs every other day SFO-BCN one day and the next LAX-BCN.
Air Canada is well connected to Europe thru its Canadian cities of Toronto (YYZ) and Montreal (YUL)with service then non-stop to Barcelona (BCN).
American airlines has good connections from New York (JFK)& Dallas (DFW) and Charlotte (CLT) for the best connections. Also they are partners with British Airways so Seattle-Tacoma (SEA)-London Heathrow(LHR) is a good option. They are also partned with Iberia Airlines (Airline of Spain and One World partner)so the connections from London (LHR) to Barcelona are plentiful between British and Iberia.
Lufthansa the official airline of Germany has daily non-stop flights from Seattle-Tacoma (SEA)>Frankfurt (FRA) with connections to Barcelona.
Keep in mind that Frankfurt is a very very large airport making tight connection times very difficult. So we suggest to allow 2 or more hours of connections time if you choose this routing. They are part of the Star Alliance airline alliance group.
