We met on dating app called Mutual and went out for ice cream for our first date! We also played card games and talked a lot. Michael knew he liked Molly cause she was good at conversation. Molly's friend took a creepy picture of us as she was passing by.

08/31/23

Molly boldly asked him to take her rock climbing on our third date. We hiked up to 'The Wild' in Rock Canyon. Molly climbed a 5.6 (very easy rating) wall. She really enjoyed herself and loved pushing herself with a new found friend. We have since climbed all over Utah.

09/22/23

We went to a Local Native's concert (one of Michael's favorite bands) where we first held hands! Before the concert we went to a burger place where Molly ordered a veggie burger. Michael didn't know that Molly was vegetarian before this and it really surprised him hahaha. We have since loved exploring new restaurants and going to concerts.

We went hammocking up Provo canyon to enjoy all the autumn leaves! Michael brought his hammock he got in Brazil on his mission. As we swung in the hammock Michael leaned in and kissed Molly. They felt butterflies and loved every moment of it ;)

Molly was invited to a UVU solar eclipse watch party in central Utah. She was super excited and brought Michael along. We drove south, watched the moon pass in front of the sun, and celebrated a professors 40th birthday.

Michael took Molly on a surprise date to a Taylor Swift candlelight concert and then to a Thai food place. Molly was so surprised and thrilled with this date. This was also our first date after Michael asked Molly to be his girlfriend the day before.

10/31/23

We dressed up three times for Halloween. We first dressed up as Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince (a reference to one of Taylor Swift's songs). The second costume (pictured above) is when we dressed up as 'space people' which consisted of sparkly navy blue outfits and silvery make-up. The final costume for the season we were M&M's. We cut out 'm's on white paper and taped them to our red and blue shirts.

11/04/24

This was our first trip to Moab! We went with some of Molly's friends to Canyonlands National Park and went rock climbing. We had so much fun and we have gone back many times.

Winter 2024

Michael loves to ski and so when Molly asked him to teach her how to ski he was elated. He first took her to Nordic Valley for night skiing and Molly had a great time despite falling over a lot. After several months of teaching Molly was able to go down some groomed black diamonds. We love skiing and can't wait for next season!

03/23/24

Michael and Molly were invited on a trip to Jackson WY where he skiied and she went to the Grand Teton National Park. After all that excitement we went to a concert for The National Parks (one of Molly's favorite bands).

We love paddleboarding together. We like to go to the lakes up American Fork canyon. For this photo we went to Lake Powell to paddle around in a desert lake. We can't wait to one day take our future family paddlebaording!

06/15/24

Molly told Michael in passing one time that she loved Lower Calf Creek Falls in Escalante, UT. He thought it was beautiful too and wanted to visit. Michael designed a ring (with Molly’s help) and secretly planned to propose at her favorite waterfall. On our 10 month anniversary we went down to this waterfall and Michael surprised Molly with the best gift ever, a sparkly diamond ring!

Michael's family had a family reunion in Monterey, CA for the 4th of July. Before we went up, we stayed at Michael's parents house and Michael taught Molly to surf a little. We also took engagement pictures on the beach. Check them out on the photos tab!

08/17/2024

We got married under Sand Dune Arch in Arches National Park! Why? Why not! We love the desert and we thought to ourselves this would allow us to have a unique and adventurous wedding with our closest family.
