Transportation To and From Wedding Venue

Airport & Hotel Information

The closest airport is Norfolk (ORF). We invite guests to stay at any of the hotels outlined below under the room block “Bachman-Sautter” or to stay at an AirBnB, VRBO or other hotel near the boardwalk. Please note that there are a limited number of rooms in each hotel block. They will be first come, first served.

This hotel is right on the beach and about 7 minutes from the wedding venue. All reservation requests will require a one (1) night room deposit that will be refundable only if the reservation is cancelled at least 7 days prior to arrival date. This hotel is 15 minutes from the wedding venue and the boardwalk/beach. There is complimentary covered parking. You may cancel your room up to 72 hours before your stay with no penalty, any cancellations made after that time will be charged one night's room and tax.

Neptune's Park, a picturesque outdoor venue featuring nightly entertainment throughout the summer, is on the Virginia Beach oceanfront at 31st Street, part of the 31 Ocean Corridor.

Located just 2 miles south of the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. This family-friendly island-themed destination features over 30 rides, slides, and attractions. 

Ocean Breeze Waterpark

Cape Henry Lighthouse is the first federally funded public works project of the newly formed United States government. It was authorized by George Washington and overseen by Alexander Hamilton. The Lighthouse is situated near the “First Landing” site where English settlers first set foot on their way to settle in Jamestown. Built with the same Aquia sandstone as much of Washington, D.C, the lighthouse guided sea travelers to safety for almost 100 years. The distinctive black and white striped “New” Cape Henry Lighthouse was built in 1881 but remains closed to the public.
