It all started on a cold January night when Rayann was hanging out with some mutual friends. Feeling a little tipsy and a lot curious, she asked if they had any cute single friends. Without missing a beat, they replied, "BIG Mike!" So, with a little help crafting the perfect message, Rayann shot her shot—and asked Michael out.

A few weeks later, they met for breakfast at J’s Homestyle. Rayann, who had been out with a friend the night before, almost forgot about the date—but thankfully, she made it in time (and didn’t stand him up!). Over pancakes and bacon, they laughed, talked, and had what turned out to be the date of a lifetime.

As the weeks turned into months, their bond grew stronger. So strong, in fact, that Rayann made a big decision—she dropped out of college and enrolled in a cosmetology school closer to Michael, secretly hoping that this relationship would be the real deal. Spoiler alert: it was.

After a couple of years full of memories, laughter, growth, and love (with a few bumps along the way), Michael got down on one knee and asked the big question. Rayann didn’t hesitate—she said "YES!" to forever.
