Our Wedding

We're getting married! After over 11 years together (12 by the time this big party rolls around), we've decided to make this thing official. Each of you have invested in us as individuals and/or as a couple, and we could not be more thrilled to have you join us for the celebration of our marriage. While this wedding is certainly about us, we genuinely consider this to be a celebration for our friends and family who have shaped us and supported us in getting to where we are today. We hope you'll join us for what's sure to be a night of good food, good wine, and good (and bad) dancing. See you in April! - Sara and Michael

Sara met Michael at her very first day on their college campus, where Michael was part of the "welcoming committee." When Michael made a reference to The Office that fell flat with the large group of incoming freshman, Sara was the lone person in the crowd to laugh at Michael's joke. The rest is history. Just kidding. After that, they didn't speak for multiple months. Some time in November, Sara and Michael ran into each other in their dorm elevator, where Sara was coming home from work wearing her Pizza Hut uniform, and Michael was of course, holding a pizza box. The rest is history. Just kidding. Sara thought Michael was kind of weird, as Michael showed her the pizza that was in his pizza box, and it was what Michael refers to as, "sauce bread." That's right. No cheese. Just sauce. And just bread. Sara really didn't get it. But over the next several months, despite the differing opinions on a proper pizza, Sara and Michael's friendship grew, and it eventually turned into an undeniable connection. In January 2014, they made it official. Throughout ups and downs, job changes, dorm moves/apartment moves/house moves, losses, gains, and the addition of 2 cats and a truly beloved dog, Michael and Sara have had the opportunity to build a life together. There could never be a better time to officially start their next chapter of life in marriage. They look forward to celebrating this past, and committing to their future with all of their friends and family on April 25, 2026.
