Our Wedding

Michael and Kamaya initially connected on Twitter. Who slid in the other DMs first, that’s still up for debate. After some playful and intriguing conversations, phone numbers were exchanged. With Kamaya attending school in Johnson City and Michael living in Knoxville, their relationship began through FaceTime. A few weeks later, their first date was during Kamayas school break. Officially becoming a couple in August 2016. Three years later, Michael and Kamaya moved into their first townhome together and adopted a rescue dog, Tripp Clark. In 2021, they welcomed Marley Kaye Thompson into their family. Marley is described by her parents as beautiful, fun, energetic, and playful, bringing a lively dynamic to their household. While cruising in the Bahamas, Michael finally popped the question at Half Moon Cay Beach- and Kamaya said yes!! After 2 years of engagement (and lots of planning procrastination) it is finally time for us to officially tie the knot! We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people.
