Where do we even begin? The two of us met unconventionally, online and right before Christmas in 2019. Mike was still working in Oklahoma and was only home for a short period of time and we were both busy with family. We ended up talking countless hours and after a little over a month, we were finally able to meet for lunch. The connection was immediate. We spent so much time together the next few months and really grew close and thank goodness for that because come March of 2020, COVID hit. We really got to spend quality time together getting to know each other (and doing way too many puzzles) because we couldn't go anywhere. Over the years, we have grown so much and our connection has only grown stronger and stronger. During the time we've been together, we've done long distance, moved in together, went to baseball games, concerts and comedians, gone through loss, started new jobs and best of all, got our two pups who we are clearly obsessed with. One of our favorite things that we both enjoy doing is traveling. It is uninterrupted time together which is tough to come by between work, school and taking care of two dogs who like to get sick often. We've traveled to different beaches, mountains and lots of places in between and on our last trip to the beach, Mike popped the question at sunrise. Talk about romantic! Three and a half years has gone by in a flash but we cant wait to see what the rest of forever looks like, together.
