You're already married, so why are we doing all of this?
First of all, how dare you. Second, who doesn't love a gay wedding? Third, the real reason is because we're masochists :)
What time is the ceremony?
Ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 (no seriously, if all goes according to plan, we only have 30 minutes on the terrace to finish the ceremony)
Wait, the ceremony is going to be outdoors?
Yes, the ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will be indoors, though we should have access to the outdoor space as well.
What is the dress code?
Dress code is garden party (floral prints, fun colors, etc.). Jackets and ties welcome, but not required.
What is the transportation situation?
Both hotels are within a 15 minute walk of the venue and there is parking in the Helen C. White garage next to the Memorial Union, some street parking, and parking at the State Street Campus garage (430 N. Frances St.).
Is there a registry?
Yes! (but really, it’s a fairly small registry because we have too much stuff already and your presence is all we really want)
What airports are close by?
If you're flying, we recommend flying into Dane County Regional Airport (MSN). However, Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE), Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Chicago Midway International Airport, and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport are all within driving distance (depending on your tolerance for driving).
What is there to do in Madison?
We are working on a list of our favorite spots in Madison, but there will be plenty of Badgers around on the wedding weekend who will be happy to provide recommendations!
Are the grooms available if we have more questions?
Yes! Both grooms are chronically available to answer any questions.
