The Colombian coffee region (Spanish: El Eje Cafetero), also known as the Coffee Triangle is a part of the Central Mountain Range in the Colombian Andes.
On top of being an economic powerhouse known for producing some of the highest quality coffee in the world, it's also an exceedingly picturesque area and one of the country's prime tourist attractions. Additionally, El Eje Cafetero contains the greatest diversity of birds and butterflies in the country.
