Our story began on Match.com in 2019 when Mike reached out to me. A few meaningful conversations later, there was a brief first date over Memorial Day weekend at O'Malley's Irish Pub, in Livonia, where I was living at the time.

After a quick meal, because Mike had to work, he walked me to my car. He stopped us in the parking lot and asked for a kiss. As they say, it was a kiss for the ages, and the start of something very special.

Over the years, we navigated lots of life together from challenges to adventures, all of which brought us closer.

Five years later, it was our anniversary -- Memorial Day weekend 2024 -- and we were in Vermont, visiting Mike's brother, Randy and his family. The area was beautiful. We were surrounded by gorgeous mountains and trees and open skies -- the inspiration for our wedding invitations and the design of this site!

On one of the days, we found ourselves exploring Warren Falls, in Warren, Vermont. Little did I know that Mike would pull me aside, there in that pretty forest with the waterfall just below, pull a ring from his pocket, get down on one knee and propose. It was a complete and wonderful surprise.

And now, on another Memorial Day weekend six years later, we are thrilled to take the next step in our journey as we become husband and wife.
