We met in May 2019, right between our two birthdays. For our second date Michael suggested bowling (a very positive sign for a girl who's family loves to bowl together). Over the summer we got to know each other through bike rides, breweries, and hanging out. Iris (Michael's dog) won Becca's heart first. We continued our relationship long distance as Becca was student teaching abroad in Norway. The year 2020 held lots of surprises for us all, and isolating together progressed into renting our first place together. Our love grew and over Thanksgiving weekend of 2022 Michael proposed to Becca with the help of her older brother Ben. Since our engagement, we have purchased and worked on improving our home together. We continue to share adventures, and grow in love. After our wedding we look forward to a honeymoon in Spain, and continuing to share our life together and start a family.
