Right in our back yard. Our regular hanging out dog walk spot. Has fishing, camping, lake, beach, and hikes ranging from 1 to 16 miles. We recommend Bear Hair Gap for a more moderate hike to a great view of the park, or Trahlyta Lake Trail for something more casual. Please don't get lost in the back country.

Visit our local stop along the Appalachian trail just a few miles from the wedding. From here you can take several hikes that go along and branch off the main trail.

Relatively well maintained dirt road drive takes you to easy to walk (1/2mile) to waterfalls hidden in the Chattahoochee.

Tallest point in GA with a view that lets you see 100miles in every direction.

Steepest way up the mountain but worth the views and pull offs along the way.

2.25 mile round trip, moderate. While not a long hike it is all elevation gain. One of our favorite hikes for every season, leads to a spectacular rock outcropping.

For some reason we have a German alpine village right down the road, but come take advantage and enjoy some festive beers.

Just over a mile round trip. Paved and easy to get to a spectacular double decker waterfall.

At the base of the scenic hwy. 6.6 mi out and back moderate hike, minimal altitude gain. Leads to 40ft waterfall cutting through the cliff. Totally worth

20 mins from Blairsville with a nice walkable downtown situated around the scenic railway.
