Hi, Michaela here! Nolan and I met on July 27th, 2019 at The Band Camino concert in Detroit, Michigan. Nolan had just gotten back home from tour managing and he decided to drive from his hometown in Wisconsin to see his favorite band (because he just can’t stay away from live music). The Band Camino just so happens to be my favorite band too.

My sister, two friends, and I bought tickets just days prior to the show. Since it was a general admission concert, there were no assigned seats, and I, who settle for nothing less than front row, naturally made sure everyone got to the show early to wait in line. As the crowd trickled in, I ran to the front of the stage.

And because God is everywhere, He made sure Nolan was standing directly behind me that night. I told my parents two weeks after I met Nolan that I was going to marry him one day. And as they say, the rest is history.
