On this December 13, 2014, Beau and I met through a mutual friend and according to his roommate, I was "huge" and "six foot four" girl. Beau of course, ran across their apartment to only find a slightly shorter girl sitting in a chair. After Christmas break, Beau and I began to exchange text messages and set our first date on January 17, 2015. Our first date consisted of eating at our favorite restaurant Olive Garden and seeing a movie in St. Cloud, MN. The next special moment for Beau and I is the day he asked me to be his girlfriend (March 4, 2015). For the next three years, Beau and I grew together emotionally, personally, and spiritually. During the summer of 2018, Beau, my family and his family developed the proposal plan at my parent's cabin. On August 10, 2018, Beau and I walked down to our dock to "retrieve my mother's sunglasses", my extended, immediate and in-law family crept around the cabin to watch the proposal unfold. At first, I was confused to why Beau was kneeling but luckily, my brain 'caught up' and realized what he was about to do. After saying "Oh my gosh, YES!", everyone on the hill was cheering. That afternoon we celebrated by sharing delicious foods, champagne and ironically, DQ ice cream cake. For the past year, Beau and I have been working together to plan this wedding. We are truly blessed to have such inspiring, loving and caring family/friends in our lives. We cannot wait to have y'all join us for our special day!
