Jerad and Michaela met in 2008 at good ole' Walmart, when Michaela started working in the Bakery and Jerad worked in the Deli. They became friends. During this time they both were in different relationships. Years go by, they have hang out a few times as friends and with friends. In 2011 Jerad was became single.

In Feb. of 2013 Michaela was out of a relationship and so was Jerad. Michaela always thought Jerad was a nice and caring guy. One of the reasons their relationship started was because of Jerad's Dad. Jerad's parents were into town one weekend. One day while Michaela was working and Jerad was off, he came into the store with his parents. Jerad came to the Bakery and started talking to Michaela, his dad was with him. As Jerad and his dad were walking away Jerad's dad turned to him and said "she likes you". Soon after Jerad told Michaela what his dad said. She than told Jerad that "If she wasn't with the person she was with she would date him." This started them liking each other more, which helped Michaela make the decision to end her prevous unstable relationship. On March 6th 2013, Jerad and Michaela were helping a friend build a wood bed frame. Later on in the car Jerad turns to Michaela and says " Are we dating now" Michaela laughed and said "I guess".

During their first year Jerad and Michaela had a lot of firsts together... more for Michaela than Jerad. Michaela had a friends wedding in Madison, Wisconsin she was going to so she invited Jerad to come along. They ended up driving down to Chicago later in the weekend so Jerad could go to Chicago for the first time. Jerad took Michaela to her many first sport games, Twins and Vikings.

On Feb. 14th 2014, Jerad made a homemade meal for Valentine's Day... It was Steak, veggies, and shrimp cocktail. After Dinner Jerad popped the question and Michaela said Yes. He also sent her flowers at work which loved becasue she never got them before on Valentine's day.

Jerad and Michaela are a very simple couple. They love to stay home and be together. They also love Trivia and going to the Cue Club with Friends.
