Wes and I worked summer ’21 together at Camp Calvary and pretty early on he stood out to me as someone special. He was the guy who never stopped smiling, had intentional conversations with everyone, and truly desired to serve the Lord in everything that he did. Fast forward to the end of the summer and a group of us went to Jersey Shore for the day. All day Wes kept dropping hints that he wanted to talk to me, but I missed every single one. Once we got back, he told me what had been on his mind and all of our dearest friends know how the rest of that story ended… but fortunately, it was just the beginning for us! Almost two years later Wes proposed and it was the sweetest and easiest yesss!

Currently, I am working full-time as a RBT in Greenville and Wes is working as a GA at Bob Jones and as an EMT in Anderson County. Wes will be applying for PA schools this coming fall and we will be moving wherever the Lord has us. In the meantime, we eagerly wait for June 7th when we get to celebrate with all of you the sweetest gift of marriage!
