How it Happened
The day before their second anniversary, Dominick surprised Michaela with a hike to Verkeederkill Falls in the Catskills. After enjoying a view from the top of the waterfall, they hiked down to the bottom. In the privacy of ferns and towering stone cliffs, Dominick took Michaela's hand, knelt on one knee, and asked her if she would marry him.
She said, "Yes!"
