Doesn't everyone love a modern day meet cue? We're all here today thanks to Instagram and a few shots of liquid courage.
After a few months of talking over the phone and through FaceTime, we took the jump and I flew to Boston to meet Ryan in person. I think pretty quickly we both knew that we were never getting rid of each other.
I flew home to Denver and over the next year we did long distance on and off since Ryan's family lived in Denver. Once the football season started up in the fall of 2018 we did everything we could to see each other and after a year we decided it was time to end our long distance relationship and move in with each other.
In September of 2019 I packed everything up in my car and drove from Colorado to Indy where Ryan was with The Colts. Over the corse of the next few years we traveled and moved to wherever Ryan was playing. We added Luna to our family when we lived in Florida and then added Ziggy when we lived in Virginia. Our family grew as quickly as our love did.
In November of 2020 we decided to make Colorado home and in the summer of 2021 we got the best surprise of our lives, finding out I was pregnant. In March 2022 we brought in the best addition to our family, our firecracker of a daughter, Juniper.
Fast forward to NYE 2022, Ryan asked me to be his wife, the same anniversary of his parent's engagement. Here we are, five years later - two dogs, one baby and what already feels like a lifetime of memories. We are so ready to embark on this new journey of being husband and wife.
