Our Wedding

When Michaela and Robert first met, they knew each other as Hacaga and TP. Unusual maybe, but not if you're in the military. The thing about the Army is you really don't know someone's first name unless you ask, and you really don't remember it unless you care. So when Robert started saying Michaela instead of Hacaga, everyone knew a friendship had formed. And as soon as anyone saw the look on his face when she walked into a room, they knew he was in for it.&nbsp;Michaela and Robert met each other during their time in the United States Army around 3 years ago. Through mutual friendships they began spending more time together, and during that time they became close friends themselves. The more time they spent, the closer they became, and in August of 2019 they began dating. Throughout their first year together, they went through several life changes. They moved in together, adopted some furry babies, got some pot holders, and decided that they still really liked each other. With the strength of a bond forged through military service, and the happiness of a great friendship turned love story, a life-long romance formed. On September 6th, 2020, Robert asked Michaela to spend the rest of her life with him as his wife, and (obviously!) she said Yes. After a slight detour, they are now planning their wedding for November 12th, 2022 and hope that all of their friends and family can celebrate the #pestdayever, so they can get started living their happily ever after.

Our Story

Hello everyone! To reserve a room at the Hampton Inn, you must call in to the hotel and give either of our names. Reservations have to be made no later than October 11th, 2022 or we will no longer have the block. Please book your rooms as soon as possible, so the hotel knows how many rooms we actually need.
