Our wedding hotel block, as well as where we will be staying, is the Hyatt Regency Lisle. The hotel is approximately 6 minutes from Danada House, and is where we will be having drinks after the reception ends at 11 pm. Please see the travel page for the hotel block code and more info!

The welcome party will be held at Anyway's Pub in Oakbrook Terrace starting at 7:30pm. First two drinks will be on us! P.S. Thank you to those who RVSP-ed to help us with numbers!

Partially. The ceremony will take place outside, then cocktail hour, dinner and dancing will be inside the atrium, with access to outside areas including the deck.

Yes! There will be an open bar featuring beer, wine, and spirits, with suggested signature cocktails.

The ceremony, house, and reception areas are all ADA accessible! A Danada House representative will be on site to help guide guests.

While the deck area is not smoke/fire friendly (deck is vinyl), the areas off the reception/dinner area that are not the deck are smoking accessible!

Is allowed at the venue overnight! We will be having an open bar, so please drive responsibly :)

We decided that we wanted something new together, since neither of us felt right about taking either of our surnames.

Neither of us like the idea of a hyphenated last name. We feel as though it's a one-generational fix, and we'd rather our future children to take our surname instead of choosing one portion of the family to favor or carry on a tradition that we set ourselves. Also, which one would go first?

We wanted to make something new that still retains the meanings of our names. Kirchoff means "of the church" and Shaw is an old-english word for a small group of trees. So Kirshaw would bilingually translate to tree church.

We're keeping our celebration mostly adult-only, with a few exceptions that will be indicated on your official invitation. Thank you for understanding, and we can't wait to see you there!
