Our very first date happened on the day he moved into his new apartment. He asked what my favorite drink was prior to me getting there (we all know it's diet Dr. Pepper) and what I didn't know is that he drank as much Dr. Pepper as I did diet. I cooked Alfredo for him, and we played trivial pursuit. He kicked my butt at it, and then we watched Monuments Men.

We hiked to Brainard Lake and hung out on the beach watching fish jump

We drove from Denver to New Orleans. Along the way, we went to the Dr. Pepper museum in Waco. We saw the Stennis Space center in Mississippi on the way to Biloxi Beach.
