Michaela and Viktor met in January of 2019 at their job. Viktor was standoffish and had a very brusque personality. Michaela was friendly and enjoyed the challenge of getting through to Viktor.

Their romance began to blossom and they began dating March 2019. Michaela will never let Viktor forget that he showed up to their first date in red sweatpants and she almost walked out. The next few months were rocky but rewarding.

The couple moved into their first apartment October 2019 and took their first independent steps as a couple. Not long afterwards, COVID came and the world came to a standstill. They did what every sane, young couple did... and got a puppy. Oscar gave them a sense of responsibility and is still the king of their house (Don't tell Viktor that).

Slowly the world began to figure out a new normal, and the couple was able to celebrate milestones. They decided in October of 2020 to take a trip to Asheville, North Carolina for their birthdays which are only 11 days apart. They got engaged on this trip and were so excited to get home and share the news with their friends.

2021 brought even more excitement with the couple becoming homeowners, adopting a second dog, making new friends, and traveling even more.

The couple is thankful to have been able to celebrate countless birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays with the people they love. They look forward to celebrating even more!
