You can find a large variety of restaurants, bars, and shopping in downtown Morristown. There are many shops and places to eat within walking distance of the Hyatt Regency hotel, and rideshare services should be readily available at any time of day to transport you from place to place!

Jockey Hollow is a large park protected by the National Park Service, which contains a variety of walking and hiking trails. This is also where you can find the Washington Headquarters Museum. It is a beautiful place to spend the day outdoors!

If you are interested in spending part of Memorial Day Weekend lounging by a lake, you can take a 30 minute trip from Morristown to Lake Hopatcong, the largest lake in New Jersey. Hopatcong State Park offers an area for swimming, fishing, picnics, and boating, or you can alternatively find several boat rental companies on the lake if you are interested in renting a boat or jet skis for the day!
